We Are United Sisters Symposium
Unforgettable Events Planned to Perfection
The United Sisters Symposium is an annual event that features seminars, retreats, workshops, and motivational speakers who address topics relative to the spiritual, professional and economic growth of women and youth. Additionally, there are activities that encourage relationship building and fellowship among the participants.
Featured at this annual event is the presentation of Miss POWER and her royal court. The pageant is held annually prior to the United Sisters Symposium, with twenty high school contestants from grades 9-11. The winner of the pageant and the four runner ups attend the Symposium and are provided the opportunity to present their talents.
Another feature of the symposium is the presentation of the Servant's award. This award is given to one senior woman and one young adult in the community who exemplify a steadfast commitment in serving the Lord, the community and the fulfillment of the mission of Christ.
The symposium closes with worship service on Sunday morning featuring outstanding ministers from our brotherhood, local singers and worship leaders.
